ScreenStealth is
now available for Beta Testing.
What
is ScreenStealth?
ScreenStealth protects your computer by locking access to the monitor
with a password protected Lock Screen. The computer can be locked with
a Hot Key of your choice or from the system tray menu or just double
click on the Tray Icon.
Once the
computer is locked, special keyboard combinations such as Alt+F4,
Ctrl+Alt+Del, Alt+Tab and the WinKey are blocked. The Windows Task
Manager is also disabled.
In order to be able to unlock the computer the user
must enter a valid password.
If you suddenly need to be away from your computer for
any length of time, an unexpected phone call or maybe your friends
called over and they have children with busy fingers, no problem just
hit that Hot Key and presto your screen is locked and secured, leaving
you with the confidence your PC will be as YOU left it!
ScreenStealth can notify you of any incorrect
passwords that have been entered during the time you were away. This
is a good way of knowing somebody tried to gain access!
You can have ScreenStealth to automatically lock the
screen when Windows starts up and can also be configured to lock if it
detects that the reset button was pressed.
